How To Celebrate? A prize for the most creative answer!

I am one pound away from losing 100lbs total since October 1st of last year.  Holy crap.

I need to celebrate that!  Normally a celebration for me would be with food.  But I can't really do that anymore.

So what should I do to mark this incredible milestone?

A lot of people have suggested that I go out and buy some new clothing.  I don't really want to buy any clothing since it doesn't fit for long.  I shrink out of sizes so quickly now!

How would you celebrate?  Please share your ideas with me!  Most creative answer that tickles my fancy will win a prize.  Yes a prize!  I will mail you something!  Depending on the day, it might be a boy in a box....  Or the container of pea protein I have discovered tastes like poo...    Naw!  I will make it something good!

Put your crazy thinking hats on and leave a comment!  When I hit 100lbs down (should be very soon) I will pick a winner.

I'd go on a trip, maybe somewhere warm. Somewhere different....maybe to visit a friend...a friend in the south! ;)

Buy a new zombie-dispatching gun! A pink one!

I can give you a link to a glow in the dark gun to kill your zombies. It is an air gun that shoots glow in the dark balls. My boys each have one. :) Or come to Saskatchewan and we will go to Ontario, just to make Jenn happy. :)

A Tattoo is definitely a good idea :)

I think you should go skydiving or maybe bungee jumping to celebrate! Congrats on this huge accomplishment, Kara! You rock!

I found the perfect thing to order, and at this price you should order a case.

Because we all know zombies come out at night. :)

A piece of kitchen equipment that will make it easier / more fun to prepare some of your favourite foods, or one that will help you to prepare some food or dish that is currently unfamiliar but appropriate to your new foodstyle, that you've been thinking of trying.

Here is a fitness suggestion: train for a marathon or a 1/2 one. Run in YOUR honor

B) start a monthly cheese and wine club. An opportunity for all the ladies to relax for a few hours.

I think a Tattoo is a great idea but you know me... I think a tattoo is a good idea for any reason.

I think you should get some star treatment. Go get your hair and makeup done and then go and get some photos done. I don't mean have Matt take some, get someone who knows what they're doing and has a big fan :) (Oprah says every woman needs a fan)

Get the boys to give you a spa day where they are the spa workers. Get Matt to take pictures.

(heh heh)

- select 100 photos from the last 5 years and put together a special album!

- have a 100 marshmallow roast!

- put 100 family activities into a jar and pull them once in a while for a random thing to do!

- make a 100 patch quilt with your old clothes!

- Finish every sentence with "lost 100 lbs - booyah!"

- do a 100 minute walking marathon

Have a wonderful Northern get-together with your freinds who have supported you at the park
( potluck fruit and veggies ).
All the best to you,
Maria.

Kara, have a professional photo shoot with yourself, and also some with just yourself and Matt..and then the boys. I think you should capture your success with lovely photos and surround yourself with them as a motivation to continue your journey and reminder of how hard you've worked! - Love your Newfie friend, Shari (who is very proud of you)

Idea #1: Get a babysitter for the day, relax, be pampered and hang out with you husband!! (this can be a spa day and a date or even better something really fun outside without little boys, just you and Matt.)

Idea #2: go shopping and buy some gear for your epic hike on the Chilkoot trail. (I still want to come .... maybe I need to move back west).

I say hurl 100 pounds of rocks off some cliff....drag it up there while appreciating that you carried this everyday! then hurl away repeatedly while chanting some matra or listening to some tunes & drinking wine. Come back down feeling awesome (and lighter!). Then come home and buy yerself a new quad. or at least a zombie gun. Both usefull items here.
