It has been just over a week since our accident and we are still waiting to hear back from insurance. Matt has been in contact with the autobody shop in Whitehorse and they were submitting a repair quote for at least $14 000. Ouch! That is about half of what our truck is worth. We haven't heard what the quote is for the damage to the camper, but we are expecting that to be minimal.
I have my fingers crossed that our truck is not a write off. It is a 2005 with really low mileage and we would like to keep it around for a few more years.
Hopefully we know what will be happening by the end of the week. I am really looking forward to getting out of this itty bitty rental car!
