I know everyone is curious about how healing is going and I am happy to share! Just some photo fun for you all tonight showing me pretty much naked over the last two years.

Two years ago and 320lbs. Gastric Sleeve surgery the day after this photo was taken started my new life. |
|
10 days ago I weighed 190lbs after two years of hard work losing weight and gaining strength. But with that loss came some serious skin issues. |

And today. 10 days post op from a 360 lower body lift and inner thigh lift. Today I weighed in at 163lbs. |

holy moly! you're skinny! it has happened, you're here!
I'm speechless. You have made an incredible journey.
Wow, those are really dramatic photos. It's a very visual demonstration that surgery is really the key to getting all the way back down to a healthy size and weight, dieting and exercise alone cannot eliminate the extra skin/flesh (you were plateaued for around a year despite the strict diet, right?) and change in body size.
I have a longstanding interest in weight issues, and I didn't realize how impossible it would be to return to a "normal" size without surgical intervention. I knew that skin would be loose, but these photos really demonstrate what the excess skin means, and following your weight loss over the past couple of years has shown how you do run up against a plateau that you just physically can't get past without surgical removal of the excess skin.
You are looking FANTASTIC!
I actually have tears in my eyes. Not making that up. Brave strong lady, you!
Now there is a strong woman! you do give me courage :)
