Wow, you would think that there's a law though! Good luck with getting it into a law! (You would think it's common sense to wear a helmet, but obviously there are people that need it as a LAW in order to do it!) •sigh•Melodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16765004925673883980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-555974008844207914.post-46093422715111189542010-09-01T08:51:09.875-07:002010-09-01T08:51:09.875-07:00Our quads are both licensed, insured and registere...Our quads are both licensed, insured and registered. I don't think we are a tiny fraction it is just that you see those same arse-holes more often!

We hear a lot of problems coming out of wild riders in Whitehorse. Perhaps rules need to come into place there that are different than those in the communities.Matt, Kara, Hunter and Cavanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06324456976588255233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-555974008844207914.post-668117988509219692010-09-01T08:45:51.587-07:002010-09-01T08:45:51.587-07:00I'm with Fawn on this one. I haven't perfected my internal-combustion engine death ray quite yet, but that day may come.

That being said, I have come across responsible and considerate ATV and skidoo drivers on the trails, and I really do appreciate their courtesy. Trouble is, they're such a tiny fraction of the off-road recreational vehicle traffic that I don't see any other solution but across-the-board licensing, registration, and mandatory liability coverage.yukondudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08827224633327107308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-555974008844207914.post-49908420258521672592010-08-31T23:14:31.218-07:002010-08-31T23:14:31.218-07:00I hear you Fawn. It ends up giving all quadders a bad name and it just isn't fair to those of us who are responsible riders.

So please take families like us into account when you fill out the survey!Matt, Kara, Hunter and Cavanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06324456976588255233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-555974008844207914.post-40107302706909709442010-08-31T22:27:23.146-07:002010-08-31T22:27:23.146-07:00I didn't realize that there isn't a helmet...I didn't realize that there isn't a helmet law. That's crazy!

We have a lot of @$$-hole quadders around here, I am sad to say. Ripping up the greenspace trails so that they become unusable for biking, skiing, and darned uncomfortable for walking. I'm afraid whenever I hear an ATV motor running behind me on the trails, my hackles go up and I'd happily see every quad key thrown away.

*sigh* Why can't everyone be thoughtful and responsible, hmmm?fawnhttp://fawnahareo.comnoreply@blogger.com
